MEET LAURA
Denson Company is proudly owned and operated by Laura Denson, a native Houstonian with over 20 years of recruiting expertise.
Laura began her career in 2009 in Richmond, Virginia, as a full-desk recruiter for administrative roles. In 2015, she returned to Houston, where she broadened her expertise to include recruiting in Accounting & Finance and Engineering. Her passion for recruiting quickly grew into a specialization in industry-specific roles across oil and gas, heavy civil, and manufacturing/fabrication sectors.
Laura consistently ranked as a top producer, earning four consecutive Top Producer awards, President’s Club honors, and multiple company-wide records for successful placements. In 2020, a client engaged Laura to build an internal recruiting department, develop two websites, and create marketing and social media strategies from the ground up. This experience not only deepened her industry knowledge but also sharpened her ability to align recruiting with strategic marketing, branding, and audience engagement.
Today, through Denson Company, Laura combines her relationship-driven approach, attention to detail, and proven recruiting expertise to help Houston’s small and medium-sized businesses connect with the right talent and grow stronger teams.
